Through its affiliated legal and advisory organizations, IdeaParlor Law serves business owners, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and founders with patents, trademarks, contracts, business formation and compliance, commercialization, athlete representation, and strategic business needs. Legal services are provided exclusively through IdeaParlor Legal P.C., while QuickChore Corp. and its divisions provide non-legal sports, technology, and business advisory services. IdeaParlor Law serves clients nationally and internationally.
Anthony Whittington, JD/MBA, leads the IdeaParlor Law team and is a senior intellectual property, sports, and business attorney. The IdeaParlor Law team includes experienced professionals with more than 20 years of combined experience across law, business, technology, sports, and consulting. Anthony has served in strategic and advisory roles with startups, corporations, legal, and consulting organizations. He has also served as General Counsel and an operational CEO and has represented numerous business owners, athletes, entrepreneurs, and founders.
Anthony focuses extensively on developing and executing strategies for securing patent protection domestically and internationally. His work also encompasses patent licensing, IP portfolio development, commercialization, and transactions designed to help clients protect and monetize intellectual property. He has secured patents and worked on domestic and international intellectual property matters involving software, Internet and telecommunications technologies, computer systems, mechanical and electrical technologies, and medical devices. His experience also includes patent litigation matters before U.S. District Courts and the International Trade Commission.
Anthony’s legal practice also encompasses trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, contracts, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and technology transactions. His broader professional experience includes strategic and business advisory work at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, commercialization, sports, and entrepreneurship.
Anthony’s background in electrical engineering and business, including an MBA, has enabled him to work with technology companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100 enterprises, with experience involving organizations such as Microsoft, Sprint, Samsung, Intel, IBM, Fujitsu, OpenText, and Salesforce. Before practicing law, Anthony worked as a software engineer and participated as an athlete in competitive sports programs. He also previously served as a Patent Examiner and intellectual property attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
